DOCTRINE STATEMENT AND STRATEGIC PLAN

Doctrine Statement
The WFCA Doctrine Statement outlines the principles by which the association is distinguished and for which it stands. The doctrine is intended to serve as guidance for actions of the WFCA members, board of directors, staff, and appointed representatives in the form of concepts and value statements. The WFCA Board directed that it be revisited, revised, and refined on a regular basis to reflect changes in priorities and principles as may be dictated by the evolving interests of the membership and its leaders. All key organizational documents will be developed in a manner consistent with the tenants outlined with the WFCA Doctrine, including (but not limited to) the strategic plan, resolutions, and direction for appointees and representatives.

Strategic Plan
This document is intended to outline the necessary steps to position the WFCA as a strong and viable resource for the fire service into the future.

The goals, objectives and related tasks herein were developed to address critical issues that are key to the fire service in the West.
