Brent L. Christopherson is the currently the Assistant Fire Chief with the Missoula Rural Fire District in Missoula, Montana He has been a member of the Montana Fire Service for nearly 29 years and a chief fire officer for more than 15 years. Chief Christopherson in currently the President of the Montana Career Fire Chiefs Association (MCFCA), President of the Montana Firefighters Testing Consortium (MFFTC) and the Montana State Vice President for the Montana State Fire Chiefs Association (MSFCA). Chief Christopherson graduated from the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program in 2004 and is currently finishing his BS degree in Fire Science and at the same time pursuing his graduate degree in Public Administration through Anna Maria College.
The chief is married to his wonderful wife Kim for 7.5 years. Kim has her own law firm, Christopherson Law Office which specializes in employment law and land disputes. They have an English Bulldog named Lillee, who is a kick. She is all about the ball. Chief Christopherson has one brother, Blane who is married to wife Janet. They have 3 children, Kaytie, Leslee, and Mathew. The chief really enjoys being around his nieces and nephew and the rest of both sides of the family, including the fire family. He enjoys the outdoors, physical fitness, working in the yard, golf, reading, hiking and most sports. He is very excited have been recently appointed to the WFCA Board.
