Matthew Portteus dedicated over 20 years to the fire service in the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory Fire Department and Alameda County Fire Department, culminating as Division Chief of Operations and IT for ACFD. He brings expertise in multi-jurisdictional projects across local, state, and regional levels, driving innovation, efficiency, and operational excellence.
Currently, Matt serves as a Principal Investigator and Operations Advisor on WFCA projects that include WUI issues, P&C Insurance (Wildfire-focused), and Data and Technology.
