Salary Range: $65,000- $72,000 DOE
Position information
The Fire Prevention Lieutenant assists staff and volunteers in planning, organizing and completing the operations of Turner Fire District which includes special attention to fire prevention services. This position provides the support, knowledge, and expertise necessary to work as a firefighter, EMS, company officer, apparatus operator and duty officer. A successful candidate understands the importance of accuracy in all levels of work, is self-driven, and innovative in their approach to fostering a culture of high expectations and quality patient care and services. TFD is proud to be a small, combination fire district and we hire professionals who enjoy working with volunteers and community members.
Required certifications: NFPA Firefighter 2, NFPA Fire Officer 1, NFPA Apparatus-Driver/Operator, NFPA Apparatus-Pumper, NFPA Fire & Emergency Services Instructor 1, NFPA Fire Inspector 1 or be able to attain within 12 months, NFPA Fire Investigator or be able to attain within 18 months, Company Inspector Level 1, and EMT certification.
