SINGLE ROLE PARAMEDIC:  $66,921 – $85,409 ANNUALLY

The Keizer Fire District is establishing a Civil Service entrance register for the position of Single Role Paramedic.

Single Role Paramedic Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate Degree in Paramedicine or enrolled in a paramedic program
  • Valid Oregon Driver license, or out of state license with ability to obtain a valid Oregon driver license within 90 days
  • Oregon Paramedic License, or ability to obtain reciprocity within 90 days of hire
  • NFPA Fire Apparatus Driver, EVOC or equivalent.

Paramedic program students will be allowed to apply upon receipt of verifiable proof that they are enrolled in a paramedic program.  Candidate must be a licensed Paramedic by the time of hire.

All applications and supplemental questionnaires must be signed and returned or postmarked by 5:00pm on Friday April 3rd, 2026 to be included in this round of hiring.    

The application process is an “open” process and applications will be accepted on an on-going basis with interviews occurring as needed.

After screening of the submitted applications and supplemental questionnaire, candidates will be invited to a three-person interview panel and 50 question written test tentatively scheduled for April 14th, 2026.
